If you’ve read some of my other notes, you already know that I’m a pretty big Skruf fan, and an even bigger fan of the Nyans series. So it probably comes as no surprise that I love this SO much<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve seen Manstoft described over and over as a salted caramel flavor — and I get that. It even says on the container “inslag av salt kola” which Google Translate tells me means “elements of salt caramel”. So I was cautious, because Skruf tends to have a fairly salty bite on other varieties — so having them come out and say “kind of salty” made me hesitate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Skruf goes, there isn’t nearly the salty bite that you’d get on just about any one of their other portions. Yes, there’s a touch, but not that signature bonk over the head that I’m used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The salt goes away fast, and what I’m getting out of this is toasted marshmallow more than caramel. I mean, yes, if you look at the composition of a toasted marshmallow and caramel, you’re really not that far off. But this seems more specific to me. And very gradually, you get a the signature Skruf tobacco flavor in the background with just a teeny tiny bit of wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thought that I keep bouncing around is that I think this would be great for people who are interested in the Snubie x Ministry of Snus<\/a> bourbon-vanilla collab, but find the nicotine too overpowering. (The nicotine here is a regular 0.8%, and like other Skruf varieties, feels a tad higher without going into “strong” territory.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drip, again, follows the Nyans series in that perfect balance of “I’m not constantly hitting it for more” and “ugh, I need to spit”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m almost — ALMOST — regretting not getting two rolls of this instead of the two rolls of Norrsken<\/a> I picked up on my last order. And here’s why: because this is SO sweet and SO specifically flavored, it isn’t something I’d want all the time. I’d always want to have some around, but in the Nyans series, Jordskott is really the only “If I could have only one kind of snus every day, this is what I would want” variety for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, if a sweet snus isn’t gross to you, you must<\/strong> give this a try!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
