When you look for snus recommendations, Ettan is unavoidable. I neglected to include it in my first order, but made sure to include it a couple of weeks later. And having gone through at least 15 different varieties before trying Ettan, I understand why everyone recommends it.
It doesn’t taste like much of anything.
If you’re starting out (not like I have years of expertise, or anything), then Ettan Vit is a great way to set a baseline. Basic nicotine, nice presentation, very, VERY mild flavor. So mild, I found myself kind of hitting the portion to see if I could draw anything from it.
The one real bright spot is that Ettan Vit is absolutely the most comfortable non-slim portion I’ve tried. Though I couldn’t help but feel like the amount of tobacco in the portion was a bit smaller than other brands. Another huge bright spot for me was the extremely light drip.
It belongs on a first-timer’s shopping list, for sure. And I can definitely see how this is an everyday selection for lots of people. Ettan Vit gets compared frequently to Tre Ankare White for similar reasons, though I’d definitely give the nod to Tre Ankare if I had to choose one.
