I recently moved this site over to a different host and realized in doing so that I haven’t shown it a lot of love. There are a few reasons for that:
First: When I started this site, I was also starting out with snus, so I was kind of in “I’ll buy one of everything” mode. And I was still smoking at the time, so snus was very much a hobby more than a daily thing. But since then, I’ve quit smoking completely, which meant falling into something reliable. (Incidentally… that would be Nick & Johnny Americana.)
Second: I went back to grad school. Got an MS in Cybersecurity. Then I went back to grad school again, and I’m near the end of the tunnel on my MBA. So, my available free time is going to spike upwards sharply by mid-2025. (It’s the middle of December as I write this, and the term is just about done — which is why I have time now.)
And Third: I wasn’t really sure anyone was reading it. But after looking at the logs, filtering out the obvious bots trying to break WordPress, and looking at the actual traffic, it seems people are still checking out the page, even though I’ve only ever mentioned it in /r/snus years ago. So, it’s time I got to updating you all with some new content, especially since SnusNotes is kind of Skruf-heavy, and recent FDA rules have made Skruf less than easy to get in the US. (Not that I don’t love friends from abroad!)
So, new content is coming. I’m just about to place my SnusMe order (yes, the SNUSNOTES code still works for 10% off and, no, I don’t get a dime from that – it’s just something cool they set up for the community).
Until then, if I don’t have an update by the end of 2024, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year, and since there are like 90 other holidays that happen in December, happy those, too.
