Skruf Nyans Solglimt

This is going to be another “I really like Skruf buuuuuuuut…” write-up.

Google Translate doesn’t even know what to make of Solglimt. Apparently, it may mean “short spell”. I dunno. Solglimt may top my “regret” list, mostly because I bought a roll of it on sale, and should have gone with a can to try it first.

There’s nothing bad about Solglimt. But, there’s nothing particularly good about it either. Allegedly, it’s meant to have a sour citrus flavor, but all I really get out of it is a light tobacco. At best, if I had kept it open in the refrigerator next to an unripe grapefruit, that might be the best description I can give it. Or maybe Tre Ankare, if you reduced the flavor by 75%.

Thinking more about this, I think Solglimt would be a good starter snus. I almost wish it had been one of my first. “What does a white portion taste like?” Two or three of these, more or less.

Portion comfort is as good as any Skruf product (which is to say: excellent). Nicotine delivery is what I’d expect from a two-dot regular portion. Drip is minimal. It’s just… meh.
